KNIT FAQs
Can I see more pictures?
I'd love to provide you more pictures of the fabric or what the product looks like on body. The goal is to have product shoots eventually (: Reach out to me!
When can I expect my package?
Please leave one to three weeks for shipping! I am only one person and do everything on my own. If you are local in San Francisco please reach out to me and we can schedule a pickup/dropoff situation instead of shipping if you'd prefer that.
Why does your pricing seem inconsistent?
Although at face value the prices of certain items feel more or less compared to another similar item, each item is thoughtfully priced according to a number of factors. Each piece uses a different skein of yarn- ranging from cheaper acrylic yarns to imported and hand-dyed specialty yarns. Skeins range roughly between $6 to $40 and the time frame of work ranges from a couple hours to a few weeks. I also price according to the amount of labor.
*Refer to item descriptions if you're curious about each material.
I spy a little yarn hanging out!
While some pieces have yarn strings intentionally left for the look, some of the tucked strings are bound to falling out. Grab a wide-eyed darning needle and weave it in and out of the pattern a few times. If you would prefer me to weave them in for you please let me know and I would be more than happy to!
*I know it's not necessary to explain my pricing! I do think it's important that you can learn a little more about what the material process looks like. Slow fashion has taught me to appreciate so much more than what clothing is on a surface level. Valuing where you source your wardrobe is the key to a sustainable textile world. Thank you for supporting me and a form of my therapy.
